Inside buildings, the reception level of the radio
equipment, for example, SH-7 C and SH-9, can
be considerably improved by using repeater
stations.
Because of legal regulations, transmitter devices
cannot be operated with amplifying antennas.
In such cases, the user can improve the
antenna characteristics by optimally
positioning a multiflex antenna with the
mounting bracket that comes with the BNC
connection set.
The 0dB-magnetic antenna
allows a more flexible orientation during
the set-up and is therefore very suitable
when installing radio equipment in switching
cabinets.
This applies also for the receiver antennas.
However, in this case, the user is allowed
to install amplifier antennas for
optimization of the reception coverage if
required. Depending on the local conditions
and the reception coverage needs, it is
possible to choose among Gainflex antennas,
3dB-magnetic antennas, and directional
antennas. |

RP Repeater Station |
|
|
The repeater stations are compatible with the
transmitters and receivers of series SH-7 C
and SH-9, respectively.
The repeater station receives the radio
signals from the transmitters and transmits
them again after the transmission time. The
integrated evaluation logic assures that the
re-transmitted signals are not sent on a
sustained basis among systems when several
repeater stations are used (to avoid a
Ping-Pong effect).
For legal reasons this device can be used
only to improve the reception coverage of
transmission equipment within a building |

Telephone Dialing Devices transmit messages over the
telephone network and can be connected via a
simple telephone socket. The dialing is
triggered through isolated
contacts at the signal inputs.
For each message signal input, the user can store
several calling numbers and record a message
or an announcement. The supply of the
telephone dialing devices is done through an
AC adapter and a telephone connection cable.
TC Plus is available in analogue, ISDN or GSM
versions and can be additionally expanded
with a Radio Receiver SHR-7 B4 or LER-9 B4.
Furthermore, telephone messages can be
forwarded as FAX, SMS or e-mail. |

SVS delivers always all its battery-operated
products equipped with high quality Alkaline
batteries.
The capacity is calculated in such a way that the
battery in a hand-held sender being used 10
times a day for one second, has a
theoretical life of app. 2 to 3 years.
However, the operation at low temperatures
or constant use can significantly reduce the
capacity.
As long as the hand-held sender is not used
significantly more, we recommend to
regularly replace the battery every 1 to 1.5
years.
