The SHR-12 K4 multi-function receiver evaluates every wireless signal from the matching transmitters in the SH-12 wireless series and can switch one or more of the 4 floating changeover contacts on and/or off.
In order to carry out a command from a transmitter, it must first be taught. Teaching of a transmitter is carried out very easily by means of a button. As required, up to 60 transmitters can be taught with all keys or individual transmission keys. The particular highlight of the SH-12 wireless series is the feedback from the receiver. You can see from the transmitter whether the wireless communication was successful and receive information about the quality of the transmission path. This feedback can also be switched off for special applications.
A selection field is used to assign the functions that the transmission keys or transmission commands are intended to actuate. All of the settings can be adjusted very easily during on-site installation with the aid of DIP switches. We will also be happy to configure your wireless system in the factory on request. Both normally open and normally closed contacts are available for connection. LEDs provide information about the function and transmission behaviour and indicate the status of the power supply to the transmitter and wireless receiver.
The large number of functions and setting options for the SHR-12 K4 4-channel multi-function receiver means that it can be used in an extremely wide range of applications. Various relay functions can be set separately for each output.
Key operation: Input and output behave identically. The output is active only as long as ON is being transmitted.
Timer operation: After an ON command, the output remains active for a set time and then switches off automatically. The adjustable time range of the timer is between 0.1 s and 60 min. OFF commands are still carried out in the same way.
Switch operation: After an ON command, the output remains continuously active until an OFF command deactivates the output again.
Toggle operation: A command activates the output continuously. The same command deactivates the output again, and so on.
The signal/function assignment also facilitates combination of the various relay functions and their reciprocal locking. Irrespective of the function selected, the relays can also be activated by cable, via an external button, code or key switch, for example.
SHR-12 K4 is supplied with an IP65 housing and an integrated bracket antenna and is fully ready to connect up. If very large ranges are to be covered, the multi-function receiver can be extended or retrofitted with the multi-flex antenna (id. no.: 00069.00). For optimal positioning, the antenna can also be located remotely with the BNC connection kit (id. no.: 00069.01).
The receivers in the SH-12 wireless series have extremely low interference because of their special transmission properties. With wireless transmission that is immune to interference and offers extremely short response times, ranges over 1000 m can be achieved. For strong, narrow-band interference or use of several parallel wireless systems, the working frequency can be set to meet individual needs. The receivers are given a serial number in the factory. This provides greater security and turns every transmitter into a unique device that can be distinguished easily.
We will be happy to advise you on the selection of appropriate transmitters.
Note:
The SHR-12 K4 is fully compliant with the switch operation of the SHT-12 FS and is able to assign the keys 5-8 of the SHT-12 C8D to an explicit function.
