The CX-12 R wireless module receives and evaluates the data received from a transmitter in the SH-12 series. The information is provided as a 4-bit word via CMOS outputs for further use. As long as valid data is being received, the corresponding outputs of the wireless module remain active and they are switched off immediately when the off signal is received. If the off signal is not received as a result of wireless interference, the outputs remain active for 1.5 s after receipt of the data comes to an end. In addition to the digital outputs, an analogue output is provided for the analogue value transmitted. The modular, compact design with pins in a 2.54 mm grid allows flexible use in a wide range of applications.
In order to carry out a command from a transmitter, it must first be taught. As required, up to 60 transmitters can be taught with all keys or individual transmission keys. The particular highlight of the SH-12 wireless series is the feedback from the receiver. You can see from the transmitter whether the wireless communication was successful and receive information about the quality of the transmission path. This feedback can also be switched off for special applications.
Outputs, e.g. to activate LEDs and a piezo disc, provide information about the function and transmission behaviour and indicate the status of the power supply to the transmitter and wireless module. For applications with limited power supply, a power saving mode is available. Here the wireless module is used in cycles, thereby reducing the power consumption significantly. With the aid of an analogue input, for example, the receiver power supply can be transferred to the transmitter. The level of this analogue value is displayed on the transmitter in 3 stages.
The radio modules in the SH-12 wireless series have extremely low interference because of their special transmission properties. With wireless transmission that is immune to interference and offers extremely short response times, ranges over 1000 m can be achieved. For strong, narrow-band interference or use of several parallel wireless systems, the working frequency can be set to meet individual needs. The modules are given a serial number in the factory. This provides greater security and turns every module into a unique device that can be distinguished easily.
We will be happy to advise you on the selection of appropriate transmitters or modules.
